I would like to invite you to the opening of the group exhibition "Out of Paris" at Schloss Britz. Curated by Martin Steffens, works by Claudia von Funcke, Carlo Nordloh, Katinka Theis and Ulrich Vogl.
The exhibition combines artistic approaches to Paris and explores different factors that make the city interesting from an artistic point of view. As artists living in Germany, all of the participants have spent an extended period of time in the city, embarking on a search for the essence, the character, and the elusive "je ne sais quoi" of the metropolis on the Seine. On display are sculptures, installations, photographs and drawings. I myself show, among others, the installation "Men on horses" developed in Paris and the sculpture "Tullerien".
The vernissage will take place a week on Sunday, 23.1.2022, from 12-16 o'clock in the park on the park side of the castle. You can walk through the exhibition in smaller groups. At 2 pm, District Mayor of Neukölln Martin Hikel will give a welcoming speech. The park is very beautiful and for children there is also a small zoo on the estate. In addition, the UNESCO World Heritage Hufeisensiedlung (Horseshoe Settlement / https://en.wikipedia.org/
Please note that there can only be access to the vernissage under the 2G scheme. There are caps on the number of people allowed to visit the exhibition space.
