KATHY TYNAN
This coming February Kathy Tynan will be undertaking a residency in The Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh. Sirius is an arts centre that serves as an intermediary between art and the public that endeavours to raise public awareness of art. It offers developing opportunities for both emerging and more established artists from both Ireland and abroad. The programme is dedicated to the facilitation and development of artistic expression, with additional community programming that encourages exploration through direct participation in the arts. The residency programme is designed to offer artists the opportunity to research and develop their practices and to engage in dialogue with Sirius, other organisations in Cork and the surrounding community. While on residence Kathy will carry out research for an upcoming show in the centre later in the year.
