Congratulations to Salvatore of Lucan on a great portrait commission of six former Taoisigh who graduated from King's Inns as barristers. The commission was recently unveiled at King's Inns by Taoiseach Simon Harris T.D.
Salvatore of Lucan was commissioned in 2023 by the Arts Committee of the Law Library to paint the six former Taoisigh who “trained” at King's Inns in Dublin. They are John Bruton, Liam Cosgrove, John A Costello, Garrett Fitzgerald, Charles Haughey and Jack Lynch. The prize-winning Artist Salvatore of Lucan brings his unique style to the commission using research from old photographs, TV footage and Newspapers, he portrays the six leaders who made a significant contribution to the running of the state.
